LENA is Helena Leonard, an independent artist from West Yorkshire working across music and visual storytelling. Her music moves between ambient indie, alternative rock and slowcore, with piano a recurring centre. White Dragons in the Clouds explores love, grief, acceptance and hope, with songwriting by Helena Leonard and Michael Leonard and production by Michael Leonard.
Extended biography
LENA is Helena Leonard, an independent artist from West Yorkshire making music that moves between ambient indie, alternative rock and slowcore. Her writing begins with the things she notices: a white feather, shapes in a Yorkshire sky, and the quiet places where love and grief meet. White Dragons in the Clouds explores love, grief, acceptance and hope. Working with producer and co-composer Michael Leonard, LENA brings these observations into songs rooted in piano, feeling and visual storytelling.
Released through AIden Studio, the project combines human-led songwriting and creative direction with AI-assisted music production, including a hybrid/synthetic vocal presentation. White Dragons in the Clouds is written by Helena Leonard and Michael Leonard, and produced by Michael Leonard.
